The latest Windows 10 cumulative update is resetting the configuration of the number of buy microsoft office 2016 installs and is breaking down macros and templates.

Posts on Microsoft's Community forums demonstrate that, after installing cumulative update KB3124200, macros, autocorrect settings, and templates are no longer available, and Word 2016 only loads the default settings.

"I use Word 2016, running on buy microsoft office 2013 . I use vast numbers of Macros, autocorrects and autotext, all saved in the Normal template. The template just been wiped without my intervention and reset to some factory default, losing my settings, macros etc. It has happened before (I saved an extra ??Normal' after that, which seems to have vanished.)," one of the impacted users explains.

I personally use Word 2016, running on microsoft office 2013 standard . I personally use vast amounts of Macros, autocorrects and autotext, all held in the Normal template. How can this be happening and just how can one stop it? What is the keypress perhaps that we inadvertently used? (Erm, it's changed the laptop keyboard for an American one too!)
