Computers running cheap Windows 10 Home Full Version may be automatically telling parents that the teens are visiting LGBT support websites ?§C and emailing them details of their sexual fantasies.
The newest operating system, that has been rolled out recently as a free upgrade for users of Windows XP, 7 and 8, has raised concern over the new ??activity reports?? feature.
The feature is enabled by default for users that have set up registered ??family' accounts, sending weekly breakdowns of browsing history on the parents ?§C even if the kids browse anonymously or make an effort to clear it.
Once active, the feature emails the parents a weekly breakdown of all the child's internet usage, such as details of websites visited.
The tool also specifically flags up keyword phrases and blocked content that children tried to access ?§C and thus teens using their sexuality would have their sexual fantasies emailed straight away to their parents.
PinkNews made a merchant account for a fictional child to try the feature and detect whether it could be accustomed to ??out' someone. Our ??child' visited websites including LGBT charity Stonewall, teen support site office 2013 home and business , and PinkNews ?§C along with attempting to visit gay porn websites.
Attempts to access pornographic content was specifically flagged in the are accountable to the ??parent' account ?§C naming the actual gay website the little one had attempted to watch, as well as all search terms used on search engines.
